Reporting
Being able to report on your flight history in many different ways is a huge benefit to any pilot.

To get to the reporting options, click the "Reports" menu option or one of the report option shortcuts in the dashboard screen. AvJournal allows pilots to report on their flight history in the following ways:

  • Totals By Aircraft - Select an aircraft profile and enter a date range to view the time accumulated
  • Totals By Category - Select one or more logbook categories including custom categories and provide a date range to view totals
  • Totals By Attribute - Select one or more aircraft attribute and provide a date range to view totals
  • Logbook Snapshot - This option displays your flight history in a more traditional logbook view in which you can vertically scroll to review flight history. You can also convert this snapshot into an Excel file or print your logbook on a printer. This feature is best viewed in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
  • Flight Search - This option allows you to search for flights based on dates and time periods using various logbook categories, aircraft attributes, aircraft make and aircraft model. The results can be viewed in a results list or made into a logbook snapshot for more detail, printing and extracting.
  • NOTE: In the Totals By Category and Totals By Attribute report options a "select all" option is provided to quickly get totals for all selections. If you have custom logbook categories, you must also select those if you want totals for everything. To select more than one option in a list, press the Ctrl key and click an option (Windows) or press the Apple key and click an option (Mac).
